Abstract

Virtual fashion, as a new form empowered by digital technology, is profoundly reconstructing the construction logic of cultural expression and identity. Through analyzing the technical characteristics and cultural carrier function of virtual fashion, this study reveals the core mechanism of breaking through physical limitations and activating the contemporary value of traditional symbols. At the cultural expression level, virtual fashion realizes cross-cultural equal dialogue through algorithm translation and symbol fusion, and dispels the power of single beauty hegemony. In the identity dimension, it relies on the mobility of virtual avatars and the mechanism of community cooperation to provide multiple identity experimental fields for individuals. This paper proposes a three-fold construction path: technology-driven digital survival and innovation of cultural genes, symbol reorganization to achieve a dynamic balance between local and global culture, and community co-creation to activate identity cohesion under collective wisdom. Finally, this paper constructs a dynamic equilibrium framework that takes into account cultural authenticity protection and technological empowerment, and provides theoretical reference for cultural continuity and identity generation in the digital age.
