Abstract

Ye Shengtao's views on Chinese language education are profound and groundbreaking. This article focuses on Ye's representative works on Chinese language education and teaching, briefly examining the essence of his educational philosophy, including his views on the subject, teaching materials, the role of teacher, and teaching methods. The article concludes that Ye Shengtao's views on Chinese language education are ultimately about educational reform and points out their guiding significance today.
